At SQUIREL, we design and supply high-quality modular garage storage units. Due to the size, weight, and nature of our products, returns involve significant logistical costs and risk of damage. This policy is designed to be fair while minimising unnecessary returns.

1. Important Information Before You Order

We strongly encourage all customers to:

  • Carefully review product specifications, dimensions, and installation requirements.

  • Ensure adequate access for delivery and installation.

  • Email us on info@squirel.uk with any questions prior to purchase.

By placing an order, you confirm that you have reviewed all relevant product details.

2. Change of Mind Returns

Because our products are large, heavy, and costly to transport, we heavily discourage returns for change of mind once an order has been:

  • Dispatched, or

  • Delivered

If you wish to cancel an order, you may do so before dispatch by contacting us immediately.

3. Damaged or Faulty Products

We will always resolve issues where products arrive damaged or faulty.

On Delivery:

  • You must inspect the goods upon arrival.

  • Any visible damage must be noted on the delivery receipt and reported within 24 hours.

After Delivery:

  • Any faults must be reported within 7 days of delivery.

Resolution Options:

We may, at our discretion:

  • Replace the damaged component(s),

  • Repair the product, or

  • Provide a partial or full refund where appropriate.

Photographic evidence will be required.

4. Incorrect Items

If you receive an incorrect item, please notify us within 7 days. We will arrange collection and replacement at no cost to you.

5. Returns Eligibility Conditions

Where a return is agreed:

  • Items must be unused and in original packaging.

  • Items must be securely repackaged to prevent damage in transit.

  • You are responsible for ensuring safe return unless otherwise agreed.

We reserve the right to reject returns that do not meet these conditions.

6. Return Costs & Deductions

Due to the nature of our products:

  • Return shipping costs are the responsibility of the customer unless the item is faulty or incorrect.

  • A restocking fee of up to 25% may apply.

  • Any damage during return transit may result in deductions from your refund.

7. Non-Returnable Items

The following items cannot be returned:

  • Custom or made-to-order configurations

  • Installed or assembled units

  • Items not in original condition

8. Refunds

Refunds will be processed:

  • After inspection of returned goods

  • Within 10 business days of approval

Refunds will be issued to the original payment method.
