Located in the beautiful countryside of Warwickshire, we founded SQUIREL when we found ourselves needing more storage space that would work with our growing family. After searching the market, it quickly became clear that there wasn’t much available that could truly adapt to our family lifestyle.

Like many young families, our changing hobbies — and the sheer quantity of kit that comes with them — meant we needed a solution that was not only versatile but also strong. That’s where the idea for SQUIREL was born.

Here at SQUIREL we believe storage should be more than just practical — it should be expressive, adaptable, and beautifully made. We design and create unique modular storage units using premium birch plywood with a hard-wearing resin film in a distinctive hexagonal pattern. Every SQUIREL unit is made with sustainability and durability in mind, ensuring a long lifespan. Our products are designed to be tough and user-friendly, while also delivering outstanding visual impact.

Each of our suppliers are carefully hand selected to ensure we produce a product with the smallest possible carbon footprint. For example our Birch Plywood supplier uses a biobased glue in replacement for traditional fossil products
