Every SQUIREL product is supplied with a 12-month manufacturer's warranty from the date of purchase.

During this period, the warranty covers manufacturing defects affecting the complete product, including both SQUIREL-manufactured components and third-party hardware supplied as part of the original product.

What Our Extended Warranty Covers

The extended warranty applies exclusively to SQUIREL-manufactured components and covers manufacturing defects, including:

Defects in materials.
Defects in workmanship.
Structural failure of cabinets, shelves, drawer boxes, panels and other load-bearing wooden components when assembled correctly, used for their intended purpose and operated within the published maximum load ratings.

Our storage systems are engineered for demanding domestic garages, workshops and commercial environments. Every shelf, drawer and structural component has a recommended maximum load capacity that has been carefully designed and tested to ensure safe and reliable performance. This warranty covers structural failures resulting from defects in SQUIREL's materials or manufacturing processes, provided the product has been correctly assembled, installed and used in accordance with the published load ratings and care instructions.

Should a manufacturing fault occur during the warranty period, SQUIREL will, at its discretion, repair or replace the defective SQUIREL-manufactured component or product.

Replacement Parts Commitment

One of the key benefits of choosing a SQUIREL modular storage system is that individual SQUIREL-manufactured components can be replaced without replacing an entire cabinet.

To support the long-term ownership of your storage system, we are committed to making replacement SQUIREL-manufactured parts available wherever reasonably practicable. This helps extend the life of your storage system while supporting our commitment to sustainable, long-lasting design.

Caring for Your SQUIREL Product

SQUIREL products are manufactured from premium birch plywood, a natural wood-based material. As with all timber products, the appearance and performance of the material can be influenced by its environment.

To ensure your storage system continues to perform as intended, it should be installed and used in a clean, dry and well-ventilated indoor environment. Prolonged exposure to excessive moisture, standing water, persistent damp conditions or outdoor environments may cause the material to swell, warp, discolour or develop mould, and is not considered a manufacturing defect.

As wood is a natural material, minor variations in grain, colour and texture are part of its unique character and should not be regarded as defects.

By following the recommended care and operating guidance, your SQUIREL storage system will provide many years of reliable service.

What Isn't Covered

This warranty does not cover:

Normal wear and tear, including cosmetic scratches, dents, marks, fading or surface wear through everyday use.
Damage caused by incorrect assembly or installation.
Damage caused by misuse, abuse, negligence or use outside the product's intended purpose.
Overloading shelves, drawers or cabinets beyond their published maximum load ratings.
Damage caused by moving fully loaded cabinets or using the product in an unsafe manner.
Damage resulting from impact, accidents, flooding, fire or other external events.
Alterations, modifications or repairs carried out by anyone other than SQUIREL or an authorised representative.
Damage caused by unsuitable cleaning products, excessive moisture or outdoor use.
Third-party or consumable components not manufactured by SQUIREL, including but not limited to drawer runners, hinges, handles, fixings, adjustable feet and caster wheel assemblies, after the initial 12-month manufacturer's warranty has expired, except where otherwise required under your statutory rights.
Damage or deterioration caused by prolonged exposure to excessive moisture, standing water, persistent damp conditions, mould, mildew or outdoor environments.

Our team will assess your claim and may request additional information or inspect the product before determining whether the issue is covered.
